Miriam Stritch

Miriam grew up in Ireland and moved to Scotland Island 32 years ago with her husband and baby daughter.

The strong sense of community, surrounded by such diverse and creative people, makes it hard to ever contemplate moving away.

Miriam has always enjoyed creating art, but never had time for formal classes. After joining Meredith Rasdall's art class 6 years ago, the encouragement and support she received empowered her with the confidence to explore and develop her own artistic style. The inspiration for her painting comes from the beautiful waterways of Pittwater and the surrounding landscape.
